Lessons

Lessons are something that we all need

However the things we need aren’t always enjoyable

Sometimes we learn easy lessons like how to walk or ride a bike

Other times we learn lessons about life and how to respond to it

Either way it’s lessons like these that mature us and prepare us for our next stage of life

So give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

The Lord protects us from all things and even from ourselves when we don’t even know it.

Which might lead us to wonder why we must endure certain things.

It is because there is a lesson to be learned, as God seeks to refine us because he knows what is best for us.

So in this walk of life, never forget do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Don’t place limitation on God, because he holds this world in his hands.

I encourage you my friends walk this life by faith and not by sight taking each step day by day so as to enjoy the life God hath intended for you, worry free and full of joy.

Have a blessed day

Fun

Sometimes we are so sure of things, and life has a way of changing things up

but thats ok, i believe its more fun that way

If life were simple, we wouldn’t have half of the joy we have now

Its been awhile

After finishing up this semester I realized that my life is speeding up. Gotta enjoy every moment of life rather its difficult or easy, fun or frustrating. Because you dont get this part back. However you cant live in fear because every year is only one of who knows how many. You could be gone tomorrow for 60 years from now. So enjoy the little things.

Smilin

Sometimes unexpected things happen in life,
Things start piling up and after we want a retry
but dont let this discourage you
because walking around with a sad face is for fools
thats not what you are
In fact I will go as far to say you are a star
because you are a child of God
Psalms 23 says we arent to fear because He is our Rod
So i want to encourage everyone to start smilin
because when you’re under attack its not time to give up
but start fightin back
how do I do that, you say
well for starters you can thank God for this day
and in the midst of your troubles remember he is the creator
awsome and almighty
So on this great walk of life keep a smile
and your whole life will be a highlight

Living Life

While seeking to enjoy this life and all that it has there are always roadblocks in our way. Colossians 3: 1-17 has really helped me in my efforts to live a life that will glorify God and bring me true joy.

1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your[a] life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.[b] 7 You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. 8 But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. 9 Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. 11 Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.

12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

All though it can be frustrating, confusing, and difficult our persistence to trust and glorify God will truly make a difference in our lives. We will not be shaken, but instead rejoice as we are surrounded with peace and joy. Enjoy life.

As we approach Good Friday and easter Sunday I am going to take time to focus on Jesus and what he did during his final week. Let us celebrate and be joyful for his resurrection.

The day is beautiful, the birds are chirping the sun has risen and nature surrounds us. When the important things in our life start to falter don’t worry about it. We have so much to look forward to in this life. We have God almighty with us always and we are never alone. Even when we want things our way he is there to show us the best way and one that will bring us true joy. This week I was able to see how blessed I am to be able to walk comfortably. As I watched the sun set I noticed birds relaxing on branches, ducks swimming in the river and bugs dancing with one another in the air as the sun was setting. Do they spend their days worrying? Or are they truly enjoying this magnificient environment that God has put on this earth for us.
Have a blessed week

Life

There are so many different aspects of life, so many things for us to experience and take joy in. When I think about my future I think of places I want to see, people I hope to grow with and the things I want to do. Sometimes we can get caught up in that, and those things we once sought may not seem as special once we have experienced them. Matthew 6:33 helps us to reach a point where we can truly take joy and appreciate the joys of this world. Matthew 6:33-But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. For me however there is one thing that has constantly stood in my way, worry. In Matthew 6:25-27 we are urged to leave worry out of our lives.

Matthew 6:25-27 Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

When we choose to put Gods kingdom before our own wants and needs the doors to our lives truly begin to open. No longer will we be constricted by the struggles of this world but instead we will be free to live life. In this process it is as if we go through a spiritual transformation and our senses to this world become enhanced. We can truly take Joy and peace in the things we seek and this only comes from our heavenly Father. You may have to ask yourself what is joy? Sure there are some things in this life that we partake in that may not be considered fruitful, however in these moments God is unchanging. He is gracious and loving and does not forsake us for every moment we are not focused on him. Instead he is loving and patient and eagerly waits our wanting to spend time with him. One of God’s love languages would be quality time if you asked me. This is something I share with him and so I want to include him in every aspect of my life, in hopes of growing with him and experiencing this life to its fullest.

So I ask myself, am I living life the way God intended? Or am I living a lesser version based on my own understanding? We think that if we have to live life for God that we can’t have fun or do anything enjoyable. However that is the very opposite because truly living life will bring a joy from God unsurpassed by anything of this earth. So I encourage myself and this world to take a step out in faith and watch in which ways God leads you. Proverbs 3:5- 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

Casting Stones

Casting stones of worry into the ocean felt great.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. -Matthew 6:33-34

Now unto the one
